We come to you live from Ro's life.
I have settled in at the new job which is nice. I even spent time this morning shopping for more of the appropriate kind of office wear. Thankfully the office's idea of business casual as evidenced by even what the higher ups wear is pretty funky so I can get away with some cute stuff that is also nice to wear out when no at work. I'm even getting used to *gasp* wearing jewelry sometimes. As an added bonus I allowed myself one non-work shirt while at the thrift store and found a baby-tee with little skulls and stars all over it. On the left chest is a big star with a skull in the center that LIGHTS UP! I am very happy about this purchase.
Me and Johnman spend lots of time gaming, both video and in real life. He broke down and bought a 360 so expanding our boundaries as far as games go. Plus, I got a used version of Viva Pinata and one of Mario Party for the Wii. Both are a blast. My only flying things garden is getting to be pretty nice (It is appropriately called The Aerie). And we are missing the Bash on payperview tonight to go play Houses. I would be dissappointed if John had not reassured me that we can catch a replay early in the week one night (Monday or Tuesday). And he has been kicking butt on Smackdown versus Raw for the 360 (yes we own the Wii version too).
Apartment is finally looking cleaner. I still have boxes to empty and well, we need some chairs or sofa or something in the living room to sit on. Mom said her and dad will spring for a dinette set and we should go out to lunch with the truck soon and pick one out. My next big project after the last few boxes are put away and the Cds/dvds organized is making doors for the entertainment center. I just don't like the open front and figure with some hinges and some wood I can fix it so we can use it for quite some time still. I did put together my nightstand and that was fun work. Plus I can add gears to make them steampunkish. Yay.
Okay, so that's your update. Tune in next time.
