John had told me they were making this book into a movie so on my lunch hour I looked it up. Happily, my favorite King book (From a Buick 8) is indeed being movie-fied! Sadly, it is not currently listed as the director that John had mentioned, Frank Darabont, the one who already did a fantastic job on The Mist. Instead, it is the guy who did Texas Chainsaw Massacre apparently. I am a bit skeptical of this seeing as Buick 8 is a creepy and eerie movie not some cut-em-up torture porn. Feh.
