It is beautiful out, but so was yesterday, and because I spent the morning and afternoon outdoors, I didn't get much done. Today, I need a little more focus so I can get to bed before midnight...and do so with a house that isn't untidy.

That's all it took for the house to look like a bomb site again. *wails* Why can't I be a neat freak, who gets things done immediately?  Why must I say, "later," and then later becomes too late?

With the beginning of novel_in_90 and getting back into making writing a part of my daily life, I've decided to instate, or reinstate, more of a schedule in my life. I am not as productive nor a good steward of my (free) time when I don't have a "job" with a boss and a paycheck. b) finish a draft of a book by Sept. 1st;

c) finish crocheting a blanket, among other projects;

d) art journal everyday;

e) crit a friend's MS;

f) host a cookout for 7 and tea for 4;

g) keep a very active baby out of trouble?

Julien has rented a motorbike and has puttered off to go surfing.

I'm staying in the hotel and declaring today my holiday from vacationing.

 I know I've been going on a bit of late about how much I have to do, but after Camerone, I kind of just collapsed. I can't maintain the deflated state, though. I have to get busy. So.  List time.

After my post yesty, I conked out for two hours. I could have slept longer but I had to get up and teach. The lesson went fairly well, and I didn't have any more of a headache afterwards than I did before. I took painkillers and went to my dance class. All in all, I was glad I went. The meds and invigorated blood flow made me feel almost human. ( Read more... )

Yesterday, I knew that my morning Reflexology class would make my day a wash, and sure enough, it did. My ride and I stayed after class, chatting with the hostess (the class is a casual thing, not an actual program I'm following).
