We had a great time in Nebraska, with the exception of Middle Daughter's Mysterious Stomach Ache which landed her in the hospital for several hours Friday night.
Long story short, we may never know what it was, but we DO know that it wasn't appendicitis, constipation, ruptured spleen/intestine/colon, or any kind of trauma to her abdomen.
She's now feeling much better (thank you God!), except for the allergic reaction she's having to either the anti-nausea suppository and/or the dyes they used to light her up for the CAT scan. *shakes head* She's definitely living up to the image of the über-sensitive fair-skinned, red-haired, blue-eyed type.
BTW, if you're ever in Omaha, we all highly recommend the emergency department at Midlands Hospital. Especially if you're a frightened and sick 10-year old or a terrified parent of a frightened and sick 10-year old.
