Cut for unexpected length.
http://blog.bioethics.net/ - Bioethics!
http://www.spusa.org/mindfull/ - more bioethics, intersectioned with US policy (Seriously. There must be something similar out there for the UK. It's getting embarrassing that I'm more clued up - not by much, admittedly - about US issues than UK ones. I mean, I'm not quite ready to fill out my green paper just yet...)
http://inversesquare.wordpress.com/ - History of Science blog
http://coathangrrr.blogspot.com/ - Wow
http://thinkingethics.typepad.com/ http://www.inklingmagazine.com/inkycircus - The name alone should be enough to get you to click this link. Their archives are here:
http://www.inkycircus.com/ http://scienceblogs.com/ethicsandscience/ - Adventures in Science and Ethics
Randimity:
http://www.economist.com/world/international/displaystory.cfm?story_id=13652095 - Essentially telling us what we all know about the current Pope. But it's nice to hear it said so eloquently.
Religion:
http://pagantheologies.pbworks.com/Pagan-blogs - Too many interesting ones to link to specifically.
And from New Scientist:
*Oh Evolution, you and that nutty sense of
humour...
*It's great when science can back up your suspicions about the way
things actually work. *Another
interesting popular science book that I will never read, but will probably have to stop myself from pretending I have.
On a completely unrelated note, it's interesting how many of the skeptic blogs don't just pay attention to investigating the usual snake oil merchants and so on, but also corruptive ideas and norms (mostly religious ones). I do wish there was more interlinking between the various 'patches' of the blogsphere, though. It's rather amusing how they often answer each other's questions/address the other's assumptions about what the 'other side' really thinks/believes. It's also a little disjointing hopping from an 'evangelical' atheist blog-roll to a contemplative Christian feminist one. It's my own fault really, I know...
On the other hand, knowing humanity, you'd probably end up with an all out blog-war (or just painful migraines), and that would definitely harsh my squee.
