School starts for me a week from today... One week from right now, I will have finished my first day of class, and I will probably already be in bed, preparing for my next.

It's depressing for me, thinking that school is already here... That all important "What I Did This Summer" speech will have little impact when I say I spent my summer working, at school, and missing out on spending so much time with very important people.

Don't get me wrong. I am very excited to start teaching this fall. I'm nervous, but really excited. Some people spend their entire college career in a classroom, LEARNING about their future jobs, but with teaching, you're lucky enough to spend a whole year in a classroom, experiencing firsthand what you've learned about in your books.

I have been feeling kind of nostolgic as of late... looking at pictures.. thinking about things I used to find important... things that I used to dedicate my time and energy towards... some things I really do miss... others... well, I know why those eras came to an end. I did realize, though, that regardless of how things have turned out now, I wouldn't change any of those things. Things happen in life for a reason, and I am ready to embrace everything that comes in my life. I am grateful to have everyone and everything I do have in my life, and I would not change things for anything.

I know everyone has this kind of day... thinking and whatnot... and if you understand, it's just hard to put what you're feeling into words.

Regardless, I love my life.
