I decided at the last minute to make everyone scarves for christmas in addition to their gifts so I have been a knitting fool!  I have 2 more left to finish... one is about 2/3 done but it has beading which as it turns out really slows you down (LOL) and the other is just about 6 inches long...  And my sister ... whose scarf is already done ( Read more... )

Wide bobble headband

too wide for my head

Stuff you will need:
1.    (1) 100g/200m hank Fleece Artist Kid Silk 2 Ply
    Note:  This was just enough for me to make 2 wide headbands, although that was cutting it pretty close.  And like I said, feel free to adjust your yarn & hook and fiddle with the pattern as necessary.

 I just finished this Stella hat last night.  I love it!

For the last few years, this hat -  my hat of choice  has been my favorite...

So I think I can say I have gotten addicted to knitting these darn wash cloths.  I had made the alien one and then to finish off the skein I made this skully one .

Now I went and got a couple of skeins of pink/red/white cotton skeins and I am determined to make valentine ones for my nieces...  right now I am working on this LOVE one.

 Been on a knitting frenzy the last couple of days.

I made this rasta hat , but I made it with fluffier yarn... so it doesn't do rasta but it stretches enough to fit the entire family at once!! LOL

I also made a pair of mittens.  I made a pair for me before in mens because I have big hands (I think) but the mens was so ginormous that I had to adjust ( Read more... )

I just finished knitting a hat last night.

Normally I love the way the hats look... but I hate the way they look on me....

This hat... I think looks odd,funky and kind of bucket shaped when not on a head....

But when it is on my head... I absolutely love it!!
