Re: friday night

So friday night Tony tells me that he and his friends are going to go to a haunted house in Canon city and then head on over to the high school for a halloween dance. I saw a sign at the school for the dance and knew the time was 830-1230a. I got home from work at 130am, puttered around a bit and headed upstairs at 230am...
looked in my room... there was Sophia and Jake on my bed,
checked Tony's room... no Tony...
checked Sophia and Jake's room... no tony

Went downstairs and called his cell phone... ohhhhh.. he and his friends decided to go to the corn maze out in the county... I told him he needed to head on back home, he got home a little before 3 am.

So we have a chat... I tell him that 3am is reserved for special occasions and the corn maze is open every day and is not considered a special occasion that warrants a 3 am curfew... he looks a little surprised and said that he didn't know that

So I told him that was fine this time because I didn't ask him what time he was going to be home, but for future reference.... 3 am was not an acceptable time to be coming home...

I'm turning in my parents....

Well, a much milder version... but I am understanding all their rules and reasonings...
