Going to court!
I'm driving all the way to an Orange County courthouse tomorrow morning to attend a hearing on a motion I worked on. I wish I had my business cards already because when a lawyer "appears" before a judge, she is supposed to jot down her client's name and other info on two business cards, and hand them to the court clerk beforehand. It's like how they do graduation name calling nowadays--only the people who come get their names called.
OK, I am going to try to sleep now. I'm nervous about driving through rush hour to get (me) to the court on time. This is what happens when a person has zero commute time: normal driving situations become momentous. I hope Bud and I go for a drive somewhere this weekend. He'd better have the weekend off, at least. He's been working three times as much as I have.
