I got 100 on last Monday's Stat's quiz and a 97 on the book review. It's been a very good grade day.
I came home right after my second class and went to the salon. With today's promotion I got my brow and lip wax and a polish change for $20 (tipped $6) and was back home around 2 p.m. (Normally costs $25). I can now give myself a nice manicure, but I tend to put on too-thick layers of polish so they never quite dry and smudge while I'm sleeping. My new color is a bright red--Thrill of Brazil. Love it. :)
I'm home right now. I like having the apartment to myself. It's quiet so I can hear all the sounds of the house, and I like the diffuse light coming in through the windows.
Tomorrow's Friday. All of a sudden, in spite of how I felt just a few days ago, it feels like the week's gone by quickly.
Off to enjoy my two soft-boiled eggs.

- aforementioned people making contact with MY food with THEIR eating utensils
In other news:
- I'm watching 40 Sexiest Music Videos on CMT (Country Music Television) and I am (a) bawling my eyes out at these romantic ballad-y videos and (b) missing my boyfriend.
- I read most of my pre-departure study abroad binder at the salon while waiting for my nails to dry!
