Election is over YAY omg. Yay yay yay. Florida was a clusterfuck as usual; I thank God every day that I am no longer a registered FL voter (even if I do vote in the only swing state that went to Romney, sigh - my county went 70-30 for Obama, for the record!).
School is good! Only a few weeks left in the semester, then five weeks off for winter break. I am going to read and read and read some more.
It is 70 degrees here today. It is only 10 degrees cooler than it is at my parents' house in West Palm. WHAT IS HAPPENING.
Let's see. What else? I have seen lots of movies of late (one of the nearby theaters does $5 Tuesday, so a friend and I go almost every Tuesday night). In the past few weeks I've seen Flight (great performance by Denzel, good start, but TOO FREAKING LONG by at least half an hour), Seven Psychopaths (hilarious!), The Master (....eh. There were the seeds of something good here, and there were two FANTASTIC leading performances, but this was a bit jumbled and couldn't seem to figure out what it wanted to say), and Argo (SO GOOD; probs ties Moonrise Kingdom for my best movie of the year; go go go see it). I really want to see Lincoln but it hasn't opened here yet SIGH; I am also absurdly excited about Anna Karenina, since I adore that book, and I actually thought Keira Knightley was really good casting for that. God I love movies.
Okay! That is all! I am going to go on a run in the sunshine, or at least do SOMETHING outdoors.
