Well here it is, X-Mas Eve. I am currently at work, but that is cool as I only have to work until 2 p.m., and its going to be a slow day.
Tomorrow, I am cooking dinner for some friends and I am looking forward to a nice day.
And another arrow pointing to the fact that America is still in the Dark Ages compared to the rest of the world. For those of you who don't know, Britain has passed legislation giving gay couples all the legal rights "Civil Partnerships" as straight married couples. Its not a marriage, but doesn't need to be, as all marriage really is just a commitment between two people to love one another and stay true and faithful to each other, which doesn't need the government nor the church to make official. It’s the government’s legal red tape that makes the issue so stupid. See below...

“Christmas is the day that holds all time together.” - Alexander Smith, Scottish poet and essayist (1830-1867).
For those who are traveling this holiday season...
All-Father Wodan, protector of travelers,
guard us, guide us,
bring us through
in safety and ease
on our journey today.
- Ceisiwr Serith
May all be filled with joy and peace.
May all beings everywhere,
The strong and the weak,
The great and the small,
The meek and the powerful,
The short and the long,
The subtle and the gross:
May all beings everywhere,
Both seen and unseen,
Dwelling far off or nearby,
Being, or waiting to become:
May all be filled with lasting joy.
Let no one deceive another,
Let no one anywhere despise another,
Let no one out of anger or resentment
Wish suffering to anyone at all.
Just as a mother with her own life
Protects her child, her only child, from hurt,
So within yourself let grow
A boundless love for all creatures.
Let your love flow outward through the whole universe
To its full height, depth, and broad extent,
Then, as you stand or walk,
Sit or lie down,
As long as you are awake,
Strive for this with a onepointed mind:
Your life will bring heaven to earth.
- Buddist Prayer
I will lift up mine eyes unto the mountains: from whence shall my help come?
My help cometh from HaShem, who made heaven and earth.
He will not suffer thy foot to be moved; He that keepeth thee will not slumber.
Behold, He that keepeth Israel doth neither slumber nor sleep.
HaShem is thy keeper; HaShem is thy shade upon thy right hand.
The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.
HaShem shall keep thee from all evil; He shall keep thy soul.
HaShem shall guard thy going out and thy coming in, from this time forth and for ever.
- Psalms 121: 1-8
