Any area folks have wood shop set up?  Need table- or band-saw, sander, clamps for a couple hours of on-site use.  Will trade/barter.

These buildings have been empty for fifty years -- last used as hospital/recovery space for WWII soldiers and previously as a girls' school.  The architectural styles range from pagoda to pipi-longstockingesque to bavarian village to gothic and more....

Watched The Good German on Wednesday night. It was pretty, I'll give it that. Otherwise, I found it almost laughable. A year ago I visited and was transfixed by the Pope-Leighey House -- a Frank Lloyd Wright design about four miles from home. The corridors are small and narrow and organized, like a train corridor, so that you are enclosed and directed in how you go through the space (imagine a pinball machine).
