In The 'Morrow

Today, I saw the artwork for my new tattoo. I heart my tat artist (and lordameth for tolerating my several translation inquiries). He went out of his way to make the Koi a little different than a classic Koi because I wanted it to be more "flowy" with Kanji in the tail. It sounds weird, but it looks amazing. I'll post pics tomorrow after I get it done. I'm so excited. Plus, bnanaman would be mad at me if I didn't show it off :)

Also, as the last post suggests, Doc said I'm free to do what I want as far as physical activity is concerned. His last words to me were "have at it." I have to see him in a few months to just check if everything is still copacetic. I'm so pleased.

I don't have many more PT appointments, either. I'm so close to having 13 years of ouchies and braces on my ankles behind me. Hence the tattoo:

"Every ending is a New Beginning"

The Fish are Pisces and swimming in opposing directions to symbolize duality in nature. Koi is also the word for "Love" and symbolized "Luck". My brother has a Koi and my sister is going to get one, so the three children of my family will all have a similar tattoo, all with different meaning to us. I'm also quite pleased with the design. I'll let y'all know how it goes after I get the first half (only the left ankle) done tomorrow.

Huzzah.
