Silly + Pretty + Work Bench
Been a crazy long week this week but I have a few things to share....
I start with silly.... Ikarus trying to steals my samich!
I will follow with the Pretty!.... We received the SOOM Cass Human dress this week and are super pleased how it looks on Elissa
And now I bring you to my work bench:
As I have mentioned here and there I've been working on a blue sleetwealth briar. She is still to date what I count as my most difficult/most time consuming commission. I do absolutely LOVE how she's turning out though. I pray to finish her this coming week becuase I feel like such a douchy artist for having this doll like 2 months this upcoming week. I took the commission before I found out I was moving, moved with the doll, cleaned it across the course of a week before xmas, xmas shopping and gatherings killed my time. new year came i started work, was feeling all out of sorts uninspired, owner told me to take my time with her so I jumped commission ahead and worked on a super adorable glot that my brain just oozed out the perfect look for. I then had local friends wanting faceups and since that's just a go there and do it thing, I just sort of went and did them. Then after that finally felt really good about what to do with this lady. This is the tiniest head I've worked on and I've been having difficulties with rainy weather which is tres annoying. But the following I will show is thus far what I have. Just the cleaning, scarring, and stitch work, I have so far spent about 6.8 hours on this... I'm crazily enjoying every moment of gluing thread to this doll though becuase I am crazy like that....
Okay that is all for now. Spent most of the weekend helping onnas-baka-gaki move. I felt a little useless today, but I felt helpful yesterday at least. A fun hard working weekend. Me and the hubby are achey, but it doesn't matter becuase it's all pains of love.
