Argh, dilemma.
So they're no longer restricting rack builds out of the new Vegas distribution center. However, one of my orders is too complex for the new teams in Vegas to complete, so it needs to ship out of Vernon Hills instead, and left to its own devices it will ship out of Vegas due to the geographical location. Well, a lot of the product is on backorder and the POs to our vendors got cut to have the product shipped to Vegas. Which isn't going to work.
So now I had to determine a workaround for reallocating the order from Vegas to Vernon Hills, and to work with Purchasing to find out what our options are at this point in regards to the stock that already shipped out to Vegas. From some of my other deals, I also have to get Will Call to go to the ECA and QC the completed rack that's sitting down there, I also have to determine why 9 chips didn't get installed into 9 laptops and also why they didn't ship even though AS/400 says they did, I have to follow up on the palletized shipment of 400 APC uninterruptible power supply units, I have to check with Special Operations to find out if they know anything about the fix for the landed cost on their palletization part numbers...
