I ache all over, but in a good way!

Much mirth and merriment was had at the fair today, despite the scarily early start - in my case because I had a job interview at 10:30, so yeah.

I cannot remember the names of the rides for the life of me, so I'll settle for stupid-ass descriptions. Best ride had to be the first one, the big uber-swing of gravity-defying awesomeness where we all screamed like big girls and spent a while afterwards walking around slightly dazed. Worst ride was the oh-so-scary ghost train. Uphill, turn corner, hilly bit, into dark bit, downhill, and then I got some kind of weird stringy seaweed thing in my face, meanwhile Angela gets groped by a random hiding ned, and both of us get jizzed on. Well, we hope to God it wasn't jizz but frankly we were a tad too busy screaming in utter disgust to give a crap.

The ball pit in the fun house type place (it was wacky, fun, crazy and outrageous but I saw no sign of Pat Sharpe...) was FAB. I maintain I let everyone try to bury me against my better judgement. Same with going on the slave labour waltzer. Oh my God.

I've only just got the feeling back in my hands after that experience. As Kirsty put it, 'our lives are in the hands of neds'. The bastards were running round on the ride spinning the waltzers really bloody fast every time we went over the bumpy bits. I'm still, not sure how I wasn't sick, but afterwards I was clinging onto anything that was bolted down and whimpering madly.

God knows how I got convinced into another round, but it ended with me jammed between Lauren and Angela screaming that I'd be good for the rest of my life, just please God, make it STOOOOOOOOOOOOOP!!!

Got no sympathy and a belly-laugh off Alex when he saw Lauren and John basically carrying me off the bloody thing afterwards. I've never been so happy to see the ground in my life. My feet and legs are killing me, and think I've pulled something in my jaw from screaming and clenching my face in a rictus of blind terror. Something which everyone seemed to find very amusing.

You all know who you are, and I will have my vengeance, oh yes. I will have my vengeance.

Just...wait until after the muscle spasms fade a bit, and after I've signed on tomorrow.

But all in all, an excellent day out, crowned by a phone call from the place that I had my interview at this morning - they want me in for a second interview on Monday!! Freakin' sweet!!
