New Year, New Beginning

My apologies, everyone! For the unreplied emails, uncommented comments and recordly slow fanfic updates. My life has just been a bit hectic for the last six months - new job, last stretch of school, looking to move houses, saving for overseas and, of course, that inevitable delve into the world of pubbing and clubbing and everything that all that alcohol consumption entails :P
My New Years resolution was to get my life back in order and that can't happen without a return to fanfic ;-)
I just recently checked my fanfic email account for the first time in months and I again apologise to everyone who tried to get in contact! You guys and the continued interest in 'Lessons' got me all remotivated (and 'Born Under A Bad Sign' because, god, does that episode call for some juicy post-ep angst.
mellaithwen, I LOVED your piece, absolutely adored it, I'm going to go back and properly comment soon.)
So, 'Lessons'. I've rewritten the whole thing and I'm in love with the new and improved piece, lol. I can't wait to post it. I have one last chapter to write but my *coughillegalversioncough* microsoftword has locked me out, so it might be a couple more weeks but I haven't forgotten it! And then I have a 'Born Under A Bad Sign' alt ending that I'm dying to take a crack at! (Yes, there will be hurt and all things pretty ;-D)
If you have stories or links that you think are worth sharing, send em my way! I'm itching to get back into the whole ff scene. I'm going to try my hardest not to slip from it again.
But, right now, I have a hangover and need to throw up (any cures or hints you guys can throw my way about easing that day-after-12-shots would be appreciated too :P).
