Thank Goodness.
They're releasing Planet Earth on DVD with David Attenborough narrating rather than with the awful re-edit and redub with Sigourney Weaver narrating that Discovery insisted on showing over here. Really, the narration was driving me absolutely crazy, and it had clearly been cut in a few places to fit in more ad breaks - I'd been left wondering more than once whether the narration had been changed to dumb things down, too, so it's nice to know I'll actually be able to finally, finally see the original version.
