What it takes...
It's been a long time since I've actually wrote anything in this journal. That still doesn't stop me from checking it at least once a day! (more like 3-4) I don't even know why I bother. Very few of my friends from university write in here anymore and all I read are amusing bad_sex stories. Blah... Few people I know on here, it seems rather pointless to write but with a midterm looming in the near distance and me not wanting to study for said midterm, LJ updating seems like a fabulous idea all of a sudden!
My masters program at Ohio Dominican has started and so far it's been pretty mediocre. I start my student observation hours tomorrow at Westerville schools. The teacher I'm assigned to is responsible for special education pre-school kids. O_o I'm a little concerned about this, but she says that they're mostly speech impairments, etc. I'm a little nervous about it since I'm not exactly a HUGE hit with kids... but I think it's mostly due to lack of exposure to them. I'm hoping they're going to be cute and like me. ^^
The new apartment is fabulous but a little friend found outside it NOT. When walking to the car the other day, I happened to look down and see a small snake. Now this is not a horrible thing, I happen to think snakes are neat. It was only until I looked closer and realized that it was actually a very small copperhead that was trying to strike at my foot that I had a fair bit of concern. My dad always says the small ones are the ones with the most powerful venom. O_O Ick! Now I look for the little guy every time I leave my house. Bleck! Last thing I need is to go to the hospital because a baby copperhead bit my foot!
Ugh... I am such a bad student. I don't know what my problem is. I just don't want to study for this exam! *sigh* Oh, and I love Warhammer Online. Let that be known. For any that may be interested (as if anyone is actually reading this) I'm on Erie Downs, Order side, name: Grizelda. ^^ She's a dwarf Ironbreaker. It's great.
