(Continued off from Part 1)

After Donghae joined the Dance club (which ironically had no other members except Eunhyuk), he became Eunhyuk's rival in dancing. Since their skills were pretty similar, whenever they competed against each other, it usually ended up in a tie. However, although they were rivals, they still hung out together, and sometimes, they even entered actual dancing competitions as a pair.

Kibum believed that after joining the Dance club, Donghae finally would leave him alone. He was happy to no longer have to deal with an energetic person like him, but was also sad at the loss of a good friend. However, he was wrong. Not only did Donghae not leave him, he actually dragged him along EVERYWHERE he went. And so, people acknowledged Donghae, Eunhyuk, and Kibum as a group.

Every time the members of the Dance club met (which was like, everyday), Kibum would be "forced" to attend because of Donghae. After a while, Donghae didn't even have to drag him over anymore. Kibum would already be in the studio, sitting on a chair and reading a book.

Donghae would always ask, "Oh? Kibummie! You're already here! Does that mean you enjoying being here now? :'D"

And Kibum would always reply, "No. I'm here because I decided to save you the trouble of dragging me here."

Which would always end with Donghae saying, "Don't lie to me, Kibummie~ I know you're here because you want to be~"

And Kibum would never respond to that.

One day, Donghae and Eunhyuk were practicing their dance routine one last time, since it was the day before the actual dance competition. Everything seemed to go well since the routine was performed perfectly. However, on the day of the competition, Eunhyuk waited at the entrance of the building that the competition was being held in. It was actually supposed to be outside, but since it was raining that day, the location was changed.

Eunhyuk checked his watch and saw that the competition was going to start in 15 minutes. They needed at least 10 minutes to get prepared! Eunhyuk looked to his left and his right. There was nobody. He felt frustrated. Where was Donghae? He would've called him if he could, but he knew Donghae didn't have a cellphone; he wasn't able to afford one, not with his family's financial crisis. OMG, Eunhyuk worried, What if he got into an accident on his way here?! He couldn't bear the thought of losing his so-called rival and best friend.

However, just then, Eunhyuk heard somebody running in the distance. Eunhyuk looked to his right, towards where the sound of the footsteps was coming from, and he saw a shadowy figure coming towards him. Eunhyuk squinted, but he couldn't figure out who it was. Eventually, the fog departed, and he saw that it was just some random guy running from the rain. He sighed. Maybe Donghae's not going to come after all...

"Hey," a sudden voice came from his left.

"AHH!" Eunhyuk screamed, frightened by the sound of someone's voice. He turned around and saw Kibum. "KIBUM?!" he exclaimed.

"What?" Kibum asked.

"You scared the shit out of me!" Eunhyuk shouted, his heart still beating really fast from the scare.

"I did? Well, it serves you right for not paying attention to your surroundings."

Eunhyuk sighed and rolled his eyes. Then he asked, "Where's Donghae?"

"Oh, right," Kibum replied, "Donghae wanted me to tell you that he's sick. He came down with a fever last night. And he sent me as his replacement."

"WHAT?!"

"I'm not repeating what I just said."

"I know what you said! I already suspected that he was sick since he sneezed yesterday. It's just that..."

"That I'm his replacement?"

"Yeah... Do you even know our dance routine?"

"Of course. I'm not stupid, you know."

"B-But, how? You never bothered to learn, much less practice with us."

"Idiot, ANYBODY could learn your dance routine if they're forced to watch it 24/7."

"So, you learned it just by watching us?"

"No duh. What, you thought I secretly practiced by myself or something? No way. I don't do that."

"I see... Well, besides just knowing the routine, do you know how to perform it?"

"Of course. The body is controlled by the mind, and my mind already knows what to do."

"I don't know... Maybe we should just quit, since Donghae's not here..."

"It's fine by me. I don't care at all. Although I think Donghae would be pretty disappointed."

Eunhyuk thought about it for a moment. He didn't really want to perform without Donghae, but he didn't want to make him unhappy either.

Kibum interrupted his thoughts, "Look, just because I don't dance, doesn't mean I can't dance. I dance just fine. If it makes you feel any better, I went over the steps with Donghae this morning. He told me that I did, 'awesome'."

At this, Eunhyuk kept silent.

"So are we going to do this or not?"

"Alright. Let's go."

Then they both headed into the building.

They didn't have enough time to go over the routine again since they wasted some time talking to each other. Eunhyuk felt nervous. He had no idea how Kibum would do. What if he messes up?, he worried.

Sensing Eunhyuk's anxiousness, Kibum knew what he was thinking. "Don't worry," he put his hand on Eunhyuk's shoulder, "I don't mess up. You should concentrate on your own role."

Eunhyuk felt surprised. This was the first time he had saw "encouragement" from Kibum. But he knew was right. He had to focus on his part. If he messed up, which was rarely, he'd mess Kibum up as well.

They were standing in the space next to the stage, since they were next. Eunhyuk noticed that Kibum wasn't wearing glasses anymore.

"What happened to your glasses? Are you wearing contacts?" he asked Kibum.

Kibum shook his head, "No. I don't need to wear glasses, actually. My eyesight is 20/20 and the glasses are fake. I just wear them to protect myself."

"Protect yourself? You mean like, to stop people from poking your eyes?" Eunhyuk laughed.

"No. Whenever I take off my glasses, girls always seem to flock over to me and bother me. I find it annoying, and the glasses help get rid of annoying girls."

"..."

"What, you don't believe me?"

"Not really."

"Whatever. Don't blame me when a stampede of girls run you down to get to me."

"Um... Ok..."

Suddenly, Eunhyuk and Donghae's names were called out.

Eunhyuk jumped, "That's us!"

Kibum rolled his eyes, "Who else would it be?"

Eunhyuk ignored his retort and went on stage. Kibum followed afterward. Eunhyuk then loudly shouted to the judges, "Um, Donghae is sick, so Kim Kibum is his replacement!" He pointed at Kibum.

The judges nodded in acknowledgment and wrote stuff down on their clipboard. When they were done, they announced, "Alright, you may begin now."

Then the music started.

Eunhyuk took one last glance at Kibum before they started to dance. Hmm, he looks oddly calm. Well, that's good.

As they danced together, Eunhyuk noticed that Kibum was right. He performed all of Donghae's parts flawlessly. But Eunhyuk was most worried about the ending. It was Donghae's job to wrap the dance by break dancing. He wasn't sure if Kibum was up to the task. Break dancing skills took a long time to hone. And even before the break dancing part, Kibum was also supposed to flip over him went he bent down. Can Kibum even flip at all?, he worried some more.

Now, the end was approaching, and Eunhyuk became even more nervous. But then he remembered that Kibum told him to focus on his own role, so he did just that. He bent down, keeping his face close to the floor, and he heard a swishing sound emerge from behind him. He realized that Kibum was doing the flip. When he heard his feet land on the ground in front of him, he took a small peek. He breathed a sigh of relief after he saw that Kibum had landed without a problem.

Eunhyuk continued dancing behind him, and Kibum started to prepare for break dancing. Eunhyuk was scared to look. What if trips over himself? What if he falls off the stage? What if he makes a noticeable mistake?! What if- Eunhyuk's thoughts were interrupted as Kibum started to break dance. Eunhyuk held his breath, and a wave of anxiety washed over him. As he watched him, Kibum was doing good so far. The dance progressed, and Eunhyuk couldn't help but watch with astonishment as Kibum wrapped up the break dancing perfectly, without any mistakes whatsoever. A few seconds later, the dance ended, and a large roar of applause echoed all over the auditorium. Eunhyuk grinned and bowed, while Kibum kept a nonchalant face and bowed as well. Eunhyuk jumped off the stage, and Kibum took the stairs, slowly descending downward.

Eunhyuk looked at Kibum with a new profound respect, "Ki-Kibum... I had no idea... Why didn't you tell me or Donghae?"

Kibum shrugged, "I dunno. I didn't think it was that important."

"Of course it's important!"

"Whatever. Just remember that this doesn't mean I've actually "joined" your dance group thing. I'm just a replacement, ok? Don't abuse your privileges."

Eunhyuk nodded. "No, I would never-," he was interrupted mid-sentence by a flock of screaming girls. They practically crushed Eunhyuk, before reaching Kibum.

"See, I told you this would happen!" Kibum shouted to Eunhyuk over the loud squeals of the girls.

Kibum quickly disappeared, and the girls left to go search for him. A moment later, he reappeared, wearing his "fake" glasses. When one of the girls passed by him, they didn't seem to notice that the very boy they were looking for was right in front of them.

"I told you they would bother me," Kibum repeated, looking down at Eunhyuk, who was lying face down on the floor.

"Damn you, Kibum," came out his voice, muffled by the floor.

"You know you'll thank me later," Kibum nonchalantly responded, and Eunhyuk kept silent, knowing he was right.

Eunhyuk got up from the floor, and brushed himself off. Looking around, he saw that Kibum's "fangirls" were still desperately searching the auditorium. Those girls are creepy..., he thought to himself. Then he walked over to some chairs that were messily laid out, and sat down. Kibum trailed along and sat to his left, reading a book that seemingly appeared out of nowhere. Eunhyuk was about to open his mouth to say something about it, but then he quickly decided against it. He didn't want hear another sarcastic remark from him. They both continued watching the rest of the competitors in silence.

When the contest was over, the judges announced its end. The announcement woke Eunhyuk up from his small nap. He looked at Kibum, who was still reading his book. Why does he read a book ALL the time?!

He looked over at the judges, who seemed be engaged in a very intense discussion. I wonder if we're going to win...

Kibum spoke up, "We're probably going to win," as if he had read his mind.

Eunhyuk stared at him, frightened by the "reply" to his thoughts.

"... What?" Kibum stared back.

"Do you have magical powers?" Eunhyuk asked.

"What are you talking about? Why would I have powers? That's not even possible, let alone real. Why are you asking such a stupid question?"

"Well, you practically talk to me as if you can read my thoughts!"

"I'm sure it's just a coincidence. Stop thinking about stupid things. You'll become more of an idiot."

Eunhyuk didn't answer, fuming in frustration. He decided to ignore what Kibum said, and focused on the judges again. This time, they seemed to be agreeing on something. I guess that means they've chosen the winners.

"Yeah, and we're going to win," Kibum answered his thoughts again.

"Look, you did it again!" Eunhyuk exclaimed.

"Did what?"

"You read my mind and replied to my thoughts!"

"No, I didn't. I was just answering what you said."

"Huh? I said something?"

"How can you not notice? You just said, 'I guess that means they've chosen the winners'."

"... Oh. So, what you're saying is that I've been saying my thoughts out loud?"

"No, you were sending me telepathic messages. Of course you said them out loud," Kibum rolled his eyes.

"Ugh, why do you have to be so mean and sarcastic all the time?" Eunhyuk huffed.

"Because you and Donghae are so idiotic, I can't resist."

"Nuh uh-"

"We are going to announce the winners now!" Eunhyuk was interrupted by the judges. He turned around to look at them, and Kibum went back to reading his book, although he was secretly anticipating the results as well.

The judges continued, "And the winners of this dance competition are..."

All the competitors eagerly awaited their answer.

"Eunhyuk and Kibum!"

Eunhyuk jumped up in excitement and screamed, "AHHHH!!!!! OH MY GOD! OH MY GOD! OH MY GOD! WE WON!!!!!! AHHHHHH OMIGOSHHHHH!!!~" He picked Kibum up and hugged him, nearly crushing his spine.

"I KNOW, I'M NOT DEAF!!!" Kibum shouted back in response, "NOW WILL YOU PLEASE LET ME GO?!"

Eunhyuk put him down, looking somewhat upset, "Geez, even when something incredible happens, you're mean."

Kibum ignored his comment, patting down his messed up clothes.

Eunhyuk walked over to the judges and shook their hands. Then he accepted the giant trophy they handed over to him. He bowed and went back over to Kibum, who was looking at him.

"Are we done here?" Kibum asked.

Eunhyuk gave him a weird look, "Why? Are you in a rush?"

"No. I did my job, didn't I? I filled in for Donghae. Now I can leave, right?"

"Well, I'm going to go over to Donghae's home to check up on him. Don't you want to come along?"

"I told you, I already saw him in the morning. Why would I go see him again? Besides, wouldn't it be better if it's just you and him? Alone?"

"H-Huh? What are you talking about?" Eunhyuk looked away, feeling embarrassed.

"Never mind. You'll figure it out yourself," Kibum gave a small mischievous smirk. Then he picked up his stuff, "I'm leaving. Goodbye," and walked out of the auditorium.

Eunhyuk was left staring after his absence, dumbfounded. What does he mean? Why would he say stuff like that? Hmm...

"Oh well," Eunhyuk decided to shrug Kibum's comment off, and focused on Donghae instead.

~
And just like Eunhyuk planned, he went over to Donghae's home.

When he arrived, he knocked on the door. However, nobody answered. Hmm, that's odd..., Eunhyuk thought, Isn't Donghae supposed to be at home? He's sick, isn't he?

Just then, the door swung open, and Eunhyuk saw a lady standing in the doorway.

"Oh!" she exclaimed, "Are you another one of Donghae's friends?"

Eunhyuk nodded in response.

"And you're here to visit him?"

"Yeah..."

"Ah, it's nice to see that my son has such good friends...," the lady smiled.

Eunhyuk blushed at her compliment. So this must be Donghae's mom.

"Well, it's a good thing you came. I was about to go to work, but I was worried about Donghae. Without me, he would be all alone in the house! What if he needed help? Oh, if anything ever happened to him...," Donghae's mother wore an exasperated look on her face.

"What about his father?" Eunhyuk asked.

"Oh... He's... He's in the hospital... He's very sickly, and he needs to stay there so he can get the best medical care possible," she answered with a forlorn expression.

"I-I'm sorry to hear that...," he looked down in shame.

She sighed, "You know, Donghae and his father are so alike. They always put others before themselves. You know, Donghae overworked himself, and that's why he's sick now."

Eunhyuk's eyes widened, "He overworked himself?"

"Yeah. Every night, whenever he comes home, he just flops onto his bed, and falls asleep! He doesn't even eat his dinner! Ah... That boy really knows how to make me worry."

Eunhyuk couldn't believe what he had just heard. It must be because of me! We practiced every day, and he probably never said anything about it because he didn't want to disappoint me...

"Well, I have to leave for work now. Please watch Donghae for me while I'm gone," she smiled, and Eunhyuk nodded.

Donghae's mother was just about to leave, but she suddenly whirled around. "Oh, and I almost forgot," she spoke up, catching Eunhyuk's attention, "Try not to get too close to Donghae if he's sleeping." Then she turned back around and continued walking.

When she had left, Eunhyuk helped closed the door. What does she means by that...?

He walked deeper into the house and observed his surroundings. There wasn't a lot of space. In fact, the house itself was pretty small in comparison to others. He looked to his left and saw another room. When he went over to check it out, he saw that it was the kitchen, and it was very small as well. He went back out and went up the stairs, seeing as there were no more rooms to explore.

He saw that there were only two rooms on the upper level. The first room was empty. When Eunhyuk went into the second room, he saw a figure on the bed. He gasped, realizing it was Donghae. He quietly walked over to his bed. Halfway there, he noticed that Donghae was still sleeping. As he kept walking, he accidentally tripped over some foreign object on the ground, and landed almost face to face with Donghae. It took almost all of the muscles in his body to stop him from actually falling onto Donghae and potentially waking him up.

With only less than an inch between their faces, a wave of nervousness coursed throughout his entire body. His hands were holding tightly onto the headboard of Donghae's bed. He breathed out a sigh of relief. Thank god I didn't fall down...

Eunhyuk pushed himself back onto his feet. He carefully manuevered his way through the mess on Donghae's floor. Eventually, he reached the bed, sitting down on the edge of it. When he turned to look at Donghae, he blushed. He always thought that Donghae was cute, but he realized that he was even cuter when he was asleep.

His eyes swept across Donghae's face. Eunhyuk frowned. He's so pale... He felt bad for getting him sick. Then his eyes landed on Donghae's parted lips, which were rosy red. Eunhyuk felt even more anxious. To be honest, he always had a crush on Donghae. The first time he saw him, he felt a wild shock radiate from inside his chest. And now, he was alone with Donghae, who was still sleeping.

*ba-dump* *ba-dump* Eunhyuk could hear his own heartbeat. It's just the two of us... Whatever happens here, will stay here... He shook his head. No, this is wrong... I can't take advantage of him... Can I?

Donghae turned his body towards Eunhyuk's direction. The sudden movement nearly frightened Eunhyuk to death; his heart, racing at impossible speeds. He watched him carefully, checking for signs to see if he was awake or not. After a minute or two, Eunhyuk knew he was still asleep. Then he went back to debating over what to do.

He longingly gazed at Donghae's lips, which were now closed. Kiss him..., a small voice egged him on, You know you want to... And at that very moment, Donghae let out a small whimper and creased his forehead. Eunhyuk's eyes darkened. He couldn't help but give into his desire, leaning forward and capturing Donghae's lips. The skin contact sent wonderful feelings that did nothing but excite his libido.

"Mmm...," Donghae started to respond, kissing back. This nearly shocked Eunhyuk to death. He froze. Shit, I didn't wake him up, did I? O.O

Although he really didn't want to, he let go of Donghae. Donghae however, still seemed to be sleeping. Maybe he's pretending to be asleep?, Eunhyuk wondered.

He moved back closer, peering down at the boy's face. However, Donghae was as still as a statue. Eunhyuk breathed out another sigh of relief. He decided to leave Donghae alone for now, and wait for him to wake up. He was about to get up, until a pair of arms flew around him, and crushed his body against Donghae's.

"!!!!!!" Eunhyuk tried his best not to scream in surprise. He blushed when he realized that he was, yet again, face-to-face with Donghae.

He attempted to wriggle out of Donghae's death grip, but it was useless. I thought he was asleep!, he thought, looking up at Donghae's face. But it still seemed as though he was peacefully slumbering. What? How can this be? He's STILL sleeping? ... Then how did he grab me?

Suddenly, Donghae's mother's voice popped into his head, "Try not to get to close to Donghae if he's sleeping..." Eunhyuk then realized what she meant. Donghae likes to grab things in his sleep. And given the death grip Donghae had on him, Eunhyuk knew he was not going anywhere for a long time. But he knew that it was ok. He enjoyed being with Donghae anyways.

Eunhyuk decided to sleep in order to pass the time. It wasn't like Donghae was going to wake up any time soon anyways. However, he could not fall asleep; not with all the sounds Donghae was making.

"N-No...," Donghae quietly murmured, his forehead yet creasing again, "Don't... leave me..."

Eunhyuk felt bad for him. It seemed as though he was having a nightmare. He wanted to help, but he didn't know how.

"A-Appa... S-Sorry...," Donghae continued to mutter, "Please..."

Eunhyuk decided to comfort him by whispering, "It's ok, Donghae... You're safe now..."

Eunhyuk could see that tears were starting to form at the edge of Donghae's eyes.

"D-Don't... die...," Donghae whimpered, and like a final blow, tears started to streamed down his cheeks, staining his pale face.

Eunhyuk tried to pull an arm out of Donghae's grasp, but to his disappointment, he failed. He wanted to wipe Donghae's tears away, but without a free hand, how would he do that now? He had no choice but to use his mouth to kiss the tears away.

Although Donghae shifted uncomfortably in response to his actions, he stopped crying.

After competing in a dancing competition, Eunhyuk had expected to be exhausted. However, he didn't feel any different from the way he did before the competition. But now, fatigue was starting to set in, and Eunhyuk drifted to sleep before realizing what was happening.

Ironically, a few minutes later, Donghae woke up.

His eyes were still closed, but his mind was awake and aware that there was a heavy weight on his arms. When he tried to pull his arms away, they refused to budge. Confused, Donghae opened his eyes, and gasped at the sight before him. Eunhyuk, his longtime rival and crush, was in his arms, sleeping. He panicked, thinking, What is Eunhyuk doing here?! Why is he in my bed?!

Then his eyes widened. Unless... We had... se- Nooo, no, no, no, that can't be it... right?

Donghae thought it was ridiculous, but his mind could provide no other logical reason as to why Eunhyuk was in his bed, and in his arms.

He first looked down at his clothes, and relaxed when he saw that they were still intact. He felt even more at ease when he saw that Eunhyuk was fully clothed as well.

He decided to wake him up, nudging him softly. Since Eunhyuk had fallen asleep just a short while ago, he easily awoke. He lazily glanced at Donghae before realizing where he was.

"D-Donghae!" he exclaimed, "You're awake!"

"Mhm...," Donghae nodded.

Eunhyuk quickly jumped up and out of Donghae's bed. "Wh-When did you wake up?!" he exclaimed.

"Just before," Donghae answered.

"Oh..."

"Um, Eunhyuk, why were you... Why were you in my arms before?"

"Oh, err, after the dance competition, I came here to visit you because I heard you were sick, and your mom told me to look after you while she went to work. Then I was looking for you, and then I found you! And uh, uhm, I was like, um, next to you, and err, you gr-grabbed me, and that's how I ended up in your arms...?" Eunhyuk tried to skip over the parts where he kissed Donghae, hoping that he wouldn't notice.

"I... I grabbed you?" Donghae wore an expression of disbelief.

"Yeah..."

"Hmm... I think I do have the habit of grabbing things in my sleep. Maybe. I'm not really sure. It's always just me and my mom here. Since we sleep in separate rooms, I don't really notice what I do when I'm asleep."

"I see..."

"Yeah... Oh, right! About the competition; how did it go? Did Kibum arrive? Was he awesome? Huh? Huh?" Donghae asked excitedly.

"Yeah, he showed up like, right before it started though. But you're right, he was awesome. I can't believe he learned the whole thing by just WATCHING us practice!"

"I know!!! Me neither! But Kibummie is very smart, after all, so I guess it wasn't THAT surprising... Anyways, how did you guys do? Were you able to get at least 3rd place?" Donghae was anticipating the answer.

"Actually, no...," Eunhyuk replied, causing Donghae to look disappointed.

"Awws, I thought you guys would actually have a pretty good shot at it," he pouted.

Eunhyuk continued, "You didn't let me finish. We got... FIRST PLACE!"

"OMIGOSH NO WAY!" Donghae screamed with joy.

"It's the truth," Eunhyuk smiled at his enthusiasm.

Donghae practically flew out of his bed to give Eunhyuk a big bear hug. However, he slipped and landed face down onto the floor.

"OWWWWW!!!!" Donghae yelled out, his voice muffled by the ground.

Eunhyuk rushed over to him and helped him back up.

"Are you ok?" Eunhyuk asked, feeling concerned.

Donghae looked up and unintentionally into his eyes. "Y-Yeah...," he stuttered, feeling his cheeks turn red, "I'm fine. Thanks..."

A small silence passed before Eunhyuk spoke up.

"Donghae... Are you sick because of... me?" he hesistantly asked.

Donghae was puzzled, "Why are you asking me this?"

"Your mom told me about how you always came home really tired, and she said that you... 'overworked' yourself, and that's why you're sick now..."

"Oohh. Um, well, now that I think about it, I guess I was tired because of all the rehearsals we did," Donghae responded, and when he saw Eunhyuk frown, he continued, "B-But don't worry, it's not because of you!"

"What?! How can it not be my fault? I was the one that kept you there! I'm the one that got you sick..."

"No, it's ok!" Donghae shook his head, "I mean, you're my best friend! That's what best friends do for each other!"

Eunhyuk blushed a deep red, feeling flattered. Although they were friendly with each other, neither of them ever said anything about being best friends. "Y-You really think of us that way?"

Donghae grinned, "Of course!"

Eunhyuk smiled in retaliation, feeling contented inside.

Then another moment of silence passed by again.

Eunhyuk was looking down at the floor, seemingly deep in thought, and Donghae stared at him admiringly. Should I... confess to him?, Eunhyuk wondered. Maybe I shouldn't... But, I can't wait any longer...

"D-Donghae," Eunhyuk piped up, waking Donghae up from his trance.

"Yeah?"

"I wanted to tell you that, um, I... Ever since I... I've always... Aish, why is this so hard to say?"

"What is it, Eunhyuk?"

Eunhyuk thought that his chest was going to explode. "I... Ilikeyou," he quickly murmured, bunching up the words in anxiety.

Donghae was confused. "Huh? What did you say? You spoke too fast."

No, this won't do, Eunhyuk thought, I have to say this loudly and clearly. I owe him at least this much.

Eunhyuk took a deep breath, and continued, "Donghae... I... I really like you." He stared intensely into Donghae's eyes with a heavy blush behind his cheeks.

Donghae smiled, "Oh, I like you a lot too!"

Eunhyuk's eyes widened. "R-Really? You do?" So, he likes me back...?

"Yeah, you're my best friend! Why wouldn't I like you?" Donghae grinned.

Eunhyuk felt a small sting of pain. Oh... He meant platonic love... He shook his head. "No, Donghae, that's not what I meant..."

Donghae's forehead creased in bewilderment. "Eh? Then what do you mean?"

Eunhyuk blushed again. "Aish... You still don't get it? Do you really have to make me say it?" He continued, "I mean... Sigh... I l-like you more than as a friend. It's more than just friendly l-love." There. I got it out.

Donghae stared back for a moment, before realizing it was a confession. His face quickly became red all over with embarrassment, and he started to stutter. "Wh-What? You... like me?"

Eunhyuk nodded feebly. "I... I've liked you ever since we met. That day you got lost...," he murmured with difficulty.

Donghae was silent. He couldn't believe what he was hearing. The guy he's always liked since the start of his freshman year, just admitted that he liked him back, and he also liked him since the beginning of the year. Feeling a rush of happiness and excitement, he flew on to Eunhyuk to give him a hug.

"Woah!" Eunhyuk fell onto his butt. When he came to his senses, he received a hug so tight, he started to wonder if he would suffocate to death.

"Eunhyuk, I...," Donghae hesitatingly responded, "I really like you too!" He put on a determined look.

"Y-You do?" Eunhyuk felt a surge of surprise. I wonder when he started having feelings for me...

Donghae continued, "I have... also liked you since the day we met..."

Eunhyuk looked at him in amazement. "So... All this time, we've liked each other for so long, without even realizing it?!"

Donghae laughed, "I guess so. It's a pity that we didn't realize it earlier."

Eunhyuk smiled as feeling a wave of relief washing over him, since his feelings were no longer unrequited. "It is, isn't it?"

~
After confirming their feelings for each other, Donghae and Eunhyuk started to worry over how they were going to break the news to Kibum; although, it was mostly Eunhyuk who worried.

"Why can't we just tell him straight up?" Donghae asked.

Eunhyuk shook his head, "No, that... I just don't see how that would work out. Plus, it'd be really awkward that way."

"But, it'll be awkward no matter what we do!" Donghae frowned.

Eunhyuk sighed in frustration, "You know what? Let's just wing it. It's not like we'll come up with anything soon anyways."

Donghae nodded, and grabbed ahold of Eunhyuk's hand to show his support, heavily blushing afterward.

They walked over to Kibum, who was reading a book, like he always did. As they approached him hesitantly, Eunhyuk spoke up, "Ki-Kibum..." Kibum looked up from his book. "Donghae and I-"

"Ah, you guys are dating now, right?" Kibum nonchalantly interrupted.

Donghae and Eunhyuk stared at him in surprise. After an awkward period of silence, Eunhyuk exclaimed, "H-How did you know?!"

Kibum went back to reading his book. "It was so obvious that you guys were in love with each other. Only you and Donghae were too oblivious to notice."

Donghae pouted in retaliation, and Eunhyuk decided to ignore his remark. "Wh-Whatever," Eunhyuk responded.

"Hmph. You know, you should feel grateful towards me," Kibum replied.

"Huh? What for?" Eunhyuk asked.

Kibum tsk'ed, "I can't believe you forgot. After the dance competition, I decided to leave on my own, which would leave you alone with Donghae. If it wasn't for my intervention, you guys would probably still be oblivious about each other."

Eunhyuk stared at him for a moment, before realizing what Kibum meant. Donghae and I wouldn't be together if he didn't help?

"Yup. You'd never know what Donghae felt for you, and he'd never know what you felt for him," Kibum answered knowingly.

"... Huh?! You... You just answered my thoughts again! Are you sure you don't have magical powers?"

Kibum sighed, "We went over this, didn't we? You just have a tendency to speak your mind, so of course, I'd answer whatever you'd say."

"Oh, right," Eunhyuk laughed, "Although it'd be pretty cool if you really had magical powers."

Kibum scoffed, "Are you stupid? Everyone knows magic's fake."

At this, there was a sudden whimper from the sidelines. Eunhyuk and Kibum turned to see Donghae, who now had teary eyes.

"Donghae? What's wrong?" Eunhyuk asked.

"N-Nothing...," he replied.

Kibum stared at Donghae before saying, "Donghae, you do know that magic's not real... right?"

Donghae's eyes turned into puppy-dog eyes. "Sh-Shut up! I know that..."

"Oh really?" Kibum asked in a nonchalant tone, "Your face is totally betraying your words though."

Donghae started to pout in response, and Eunhyuk couldn't help but laugh at him.

"Wha... You're so mean, Eunhyuk! Why are you laughing at me?" Donghae whined.

"I'm sorry, but I can't help it! You're so cute!" Eunhyuk grinned.

Donghae felt flustered. "H-Huh?! I'm c-cute?! ...Aish!" He abruptly turned around and ran away in embarrassment.

"What?! Donghae! Come back!" Eunhyuk started to run after him.

Kibum watched as Eunhyuk and Donghae disappeared from his view. He went back to reading his book again and murmured, "Idiots," albeit with a hint of fondness in his voice this time.

(Back to the present)

Donghae smiled as he remembered his precious college memories. Hmm..., he thought, I wonder how Kibum's doing...?

After Donghae, Eunhyuk, and Kibum graduated college, Kibum had gone on to become a successful actor. Donghae always thought it was quite ironic for Kibum to choose that career, since he never seemed to show any emotions. I should contact him soon, just to see how he's doing...

Donghae got up to look for his phone, which had Kibum's contact info. When he found it, it flipped it open and gasped. It's 8:13?, he thought, worried, Hyukkie's been gone for nearly half an hour! What happened to him and Sungmin?! Donghae started to panic at the thought of Eunhyuk and Sungmin together, alone. Wait, what about Kyuhyun?! I can't believe I forgot about him again!, Donghae face-palmed.

He decided to call Eunhyuk's cellphone just to make sure he was alright. As he waited for Eunhyuk to pick up, he jumped in surprise when he heard a phone ringing on the desk behind him. Donghae stared at the cellphone.

HE LEFT HIS CELLPHONE AT HOME?!

A/N: "Hae" there guys~ xD (Get it? "Hae" from Dong"hae")
After not updating "Sleepless Nights" for like, 5 months, I have finally returned with a new chapter!~ :'D And it's sooo long, that I had to make separate posts in order to post the entire chapter! xD
Hmm, I got writer's block after Hyukkie's confession, so everything else after that may seem a little out of place and not as detailed as before. D:
Plus, I'm not good at writing fluffy scenes like that, so I hope it doesn't seem too awkward. xD I really wanted to write more about Donghae and Eunhyuk's relationship after they got together, but I couldn't come up with anything. :(
Well, I'm gonna cut this A/N short because I'm not sure what to say next. xD
... Oh right! I almost forgot, but I have another fic coming up! :'D
It's gonna be in Facebook format (because I love Facebook fics xD) with all of the Super Junior members in it! ^w^ It will be called, "WHY CAPSLOCK IS AWESOME". Yes, that's right, the title is caps in honor of capslock. :)
I've been working on that fic for some time, and I pray that I'll get it up by next week. :'D
Hmm, what else... Ah! Here's mini-spoiler for the next chapter!
In Chapter 10, Kibum shall make an appearance! And maybe some other SuJu members~ xD It shall also focus on what happened to Eunhyuk and Sungmin after they decided to carry Kyuhyun to the hospital. ^w^

And silent readers~ don't be afraid to comment~ I welcome all comments (as long as they're nice please ^w^) at any time~ :]

Thanks for reading!~ ♥
