The cat started her diet today. Last night Simon tried to pick her up and she bit him, and he was very upset because he thought she didn't like him anymore, and they had always been friends. But we surmised that possibly Edie's increasing girth has made it uncomfortable for her to be grabbed, and maybe that's why she's snappy. We realised that in feeding her a pet-meat portion twice a day she has been ingesting the equivalent of abour four rodents per diem, when she should really be getting about 1-2 rodents. So this morning she had a half-portion, and then another half-portion this afternoom. She actually nearly managed to knock me over while I was putting the food in her bowl.
My knit vest has only one armhole done still. So I will have something to work on at the meetup.
