Gotta GOCCO!

May 24, 2004 14:15

I got a Print GOCCO at Savers for $20! I'm really excited even though I don't really know what it is. I do know that you use it to make screen prints. Although the kit is complete and has all the instructions, I still don't quite get the concept of how it will all work. I have done a little googling to find out more about it- did you know that one-third of all Japanese households have a Print GOCCO? I have been wanting to try screenprinting for a while now and it's so weird, I think I had a dream about finding a GOCCO at an op-shop a while ago- and in the dream I didn't really know what it was, either.

The scarf's seventh alien-head is about half done, and I hope I can just leave it at that, actually. I'm a bit over them.

I made myself a very cool knitting-needle case. Well, not cool exactly, maybe a bit granny-looking, but in a cool way. Or maybe just a granny way. Oh well, have a look and decide for yourself-

That's how it looks rolled up and ready to be stored in my knitting bag (not yet made- future project!)

Then you slip the elastic over the ends and you can unroll.

The flappy thing stops the needles from falling out the top.

There's all my needles, ready for use!
