AWPEFDJASLKF!!!
Finally, finally,
Grace is Gone is opening here in Dallas this weekend.
And here’s the
review from my local web news. I totally agree with them. It’s about damn time. They go on to say, “Grace is Gone is the most moving and well-executed movie I've seen in a long time, and it's easily the most even-handed one yet released to deal with Iraq war themes.”
And then, of course, the asshole idiots in the Academy don’t even nominate it for anything and instead nominate ... well, my rant may not go over well, so I’ll keep it to myself. But anyway, if it’s showing near you and you haven’t seen it, go see it, please! Don’t take my word for it. Read the review.
ETA: The other place it's currently showing is
Boston, at the Kendall Square Cinema. The link has showtimes, etc.
I'll keep an eye out for it to show up in other theaters and let y'all know the second I know anything. Same for DVD release, of course.
Also, LULZ!!
Is the Macbook Air a Flop? Is certainly is to me, but only because of the awful music in the background of their commercial. I think it’s the same talentless hack that was featured in the Ipod Nano commercials with narcissistic teenie lyrics, awful voice, and just generally bad. I have nothing against Apple or Macs, but that music makes me want to hurl myself through the TV and punch that chick.
