Violent Politics, Halloween, NaNoWriMo
Bogglement: "RICHMOND, Va. (Nov. 1) - A heckler who confronted Sen. George Allen at a campaign appearance Tuesday was put in a chokehold and slammed to the floor by three of the Republican's supporters in an incident captured on video."
This election can't possibly be over fast enough for me.
An email my sister sent me on the 29th just showed up this morning in my aol inbox!

I'm not participating this year. Instead I'm working on my sister's birthday present, but I'm going to try to adhere somewhat to the NaNo schedule to get it written, so I'm unlikely to be around for play much. I am always available to beta, though.

My ride home last night was surreal. I got on the bus going to SMU because I didn't want to wait 10 minutes in the cold. It goes to SMU as the first half of its route and then over where I live for the second. Anyway, there was some big game going on over at SMU, plus a concert or Halloween party or something, so the regular SMU shuttle had to take a different route, which took forever. We finally got back to the train station and he was supposed to head over for the second half of the route, but instead he went straight back to SMU. We got to the Student Center and the other bus was there. And our bus was packed, since no one had been taken home, so no one had left the bus. The other bus' driver driver was all WTF are you doing here, dude? And our driver said he'd gotten way off schedule and was about to run out of gas. We ended up getting on the other bus, which finally took us home.
Reminder to myself -- Quit looking at ads for HP RPGs. They only infuriate you! (This time it was a game with Tom Welling being used as a PB for Harry, which is common enough but always sends me into a frothing rage. Just NO NO NO NO NO!!!!!! and worse still, the Hermione journal name had the word "beauty" in it. Gah! *seethes*) At least they weren't claiming to be "canon compliant." Would it be completely evil of me to spork RPG descriptions?
