Hello!
Wow! I haven't checked this thing since November. So many things happening in everyone's life! I hope everyone is well and getting ready to enjoy the holidays.
Things on my end are good. Overall. I am almost done with grad school for the semester, so I am very happy. Work in the classroom has been busy, but I just love my class this year. I think I'll actually miss them over winter break! They're just so darn cute!
I broke down in the middle of the blizzard on my way home from work on Friday. AAA wouldn't even come to help me because they didn't want their tow trucks to get into accidents. Huh? What the heck was I supposed to do? They gave me tow truck numbers but none of them would come either! So there I was, crying, with my cell phone, in the middle of traffic during rush hour in a snowstorm in the dark and cold with only my leftover lunch and a bag of uneaten popcorn from movie day at school to sustain me. (Actually, that sounds kind of funny NOW.) Luckily, a kindly (actually, he was mean.) policeman came by and waited behind me while he called a tow truck which came about an hour later. So, though I work 15 mins away from home, I got back 4 hours after I originally left! My dumb car is still sitting up in a Berkeley Heights tow station. My dad also came to rescue me and waited with me until they took my car away. :) I'm gonna try to get it now. Oh, the frustration...but it was one of those little things that you get over. Just annoying at the time.
