You know what's made me stupidly happy? Ribbed tank tops, or wife-beaters, from Old Navy. I ordered three, black, white, and red, along with matching, frilly panties. On days where I match, wearing my jeans, I am content. It's silly, I know, but in forty years time, you'll find me in a nursing home wearing my ribbed tank top and jeans.
My son had received his first semester class schedule and his housing information. We still don't know about a roommate. In a month, we will be on plane to the west coast to leave my only child in the city of Portland. It will be an exciting, heart-breaking adventure.
I am enjoying the Castle re-runs thoroughly. I am buying Season One on blu-ray when it comes out.
Speaking of which, does anyone over the pond know if there will be new series for IT Crowd and No Heroics? I may wear out my DVDs.
The class goes well. I think. We"re into subnetting. It requires math. I suck at math. I hate everyone who can do math in their head. Yes, you. The professor is excellent in presentation and explanation of the material. However, I may have to start beating some twenty-year-old-males if they don't start checking their testosterone at the door. You don't want to play "my dick is bigger" with me. I've been told I have a big dick and a huge set of balls by a Special-Ops Sniper from the Marines. I believe that's all the validation I need. Thank you.
As much as I love the website, http://talklikewarrenellis.com, I believe there should be a "Talk Like Warren Ellis" Day. It would be fun to watch the unemployment statistics soar.
