Violence with your morning coffee?
Have I ever mentioned how much I *love* doing paperwork first thing in the morning? Oh yeah, and breaking up a fight before I've even had breakfast yet is pretty high up on my "list of things Matt likes" list too... Yeah basically, got woken up at 7:30 this morning to one resident shouting at and coaxing another into a fist fight. Fortunately, the other resident wasn't looking for a fight and continued to back down.... but the aggressor just wouldn't let it rest; I'm charging him with courtesy-hours violation (noise) and failure to comply (with my request to break up the fight by continuing the fight several minutes later in another location) ... The aggressor even started to get up in my face when confronted--and no, aint no little punk gonna get in my face! *snaps* un-uh betch! lol.... (kidding).... So yeah I had to do paperwork on that before I could get some breakfast... joy!
I'm over the issue last week with the other staff member; I still disagree with her about the way she conducts herself but I'm over the incident. We did a staff development activity at the meeting yesterday and afterward she had made a comment in the SSO about people putting negative things on her paper. In some respects, I feel bad for her, she gets a lot of flak and probably has a tough time dealing with some of it--on the other hand, she brings a lot of it on herself by being a total control-freak. She needs to let go, relax, and not get so offended over the small stuff. Then again, people need to be grownups and not turn a constructive activity into an anonymous bashing forum.
Thanksgiving kinda sucked, I had boxed macaroni and cheese for my turkey dinner... alone... but it's okay, I made some good money; can't wait to get paid for it! It was so quiet around that I almost started going crazy from lack of people to talk to! LOL.
Oh, and I need addresses from Mick, Chad, Sarah, and Patrick!
