an update from last night
I was still up when she got back from the bars and this is about how the conversation went
Latasha: are you waiting up?
Me: nah
Me: just couldn't really sleep
Latasha: aww i'm sorry
Me: was getting ready to give it another shot here before too long
Me: how was the bar?>
Latasha: I know this whole thing sucks for you, but know I still care a lot actually...so no worries cutie
Me: that does make things a little better, i know you do

Me: i definitely missed not havin ya around tonight too
Latasha: what'd ya do?
Me: played some online games with mike, matt, and kent
Latasha: good deal
Me: that was really about it, nothin exciting like a dance-off :-P
Latasha: haha it was just like a movie
Me: i can't top that one haha
Latasha: well there are different types of fun...neither are considered "better"
Me: yeah well i thought too much about you to really have fun
Latasha: aww
Latasha: I just need a bit more space than what you were giving me that's all...I can't think when two things are happening at once
Me: i know
Me: and like i said, take the space you need, caus ei'd prefer you to figure things out first too
Latasha: yeah
Me: if it's meant to happen it'll happen, and while it's not what i would label as ideal to have to wait it out, I'm willing to if it's what you need to do to be happy
Latasha: aww thanks...it means a lot..I know it's a pain in the ass and I'm confusing as hell, so props to you for putting up with it all

Me: call it being cocky, but deep down I still have strong confidence for the 2 of us
Latasha: yeah I think it could work, provided I could put my all into it and not have part of me stranded
Latasha: cause it wouldn't be fair to you
Me: and that's why i'm willing to wait
Me: cause if things went that well with you not putting your all into it, there'll be no stopping us if you get to the point where you're able to
