The Doomsday Algorithm (below) is used to figure out what day of the week a given date falls on. Years ago (late 1990's ?), I had this memorized, but it leaked out of my head. *g*

Or, if you go to the source, there is a javascript widget that will figure out the day for you. Actually, the javascript there only works for the 20th century, but here ( Read more... )
