Originally uploaded by mkwhite11 This year's Memorial Day Party was one of the best ever. A good introduction to a 28-year tradition for my baby brother. The weather was warm, but not too hot, a little rain, but not enough to make it muddy. The turnout was wonderful, with so many old friends and people I hadn't seen in way too long. There were sweet friendly dogs and entertaining children. I got to swim at the Spillway and help with the bbq sauce and cook breakfast for a dozen or so people. My future brother-in-law, Preston, made some incredible beer.
I'm so glad those of you who came could make it, and I missed those of you who weren't there. I hope to see you all next year.
