Alright, so I had my interview in Boston for the United Against Bush campaign. Went pretty well, got asked back for another interview/training session on monday. Here's the down side:
Work 2pm-10pm in Boston, by the time I get home itll be 11 (meaning all Sox games during the week are ruled out)
Have to walk around Boston going door to door asking for donations to the campaign
Daily quota is $300 and if met you receive medium compensation (meaning $65 or so a day)
If less than $300 received, $50 bucks a day ($6.25 an hour)
T transportation and parking not included ($8 a day for 5 days=$40 a week)
So Im supposed to start on Monday. I dont think I really want this job, kinda sucks. I dont really care about the cause at all, yeah its politics but i just dont care anymore. I just need a job that Im gonna make money and not be getting screwed over with having to pay for my transportation and if I cant get anyone to donate.
Starting to regret giving up that job in Maine.
