Food Poisoned!
I woke up at 6:30am with a dull ache in my stomache, sort've like there was a lead weight inside.
I think it was from eating both roadkill deer meat AND earlier, carne asada in this burrito.
Too much meat.
I couldn't go back to sleep so i just thought a lot about permaculture course ideas & such. It was kind of maddening.
Finally, I got up, made some smooth moves tea and drank it and went to the bathroom a bit later.
My stomach still ached, just less so, and then i got a headache to compensate. This continued until just about now, 11pm.

On another note, I made a monthly budget from October 08 through to Sept of 09. Totally weird. Especially because in it, I assume that Alana will move here in June, which just seems so weird to "budget" that in, though super awesome.
It's pretty rad, as a part of this entrepreneurial budgeting exercise we did in class you layout your projected monthly income, expenses, and add another entry called "support." Seeing this laid out like this made me feel so much better about loans from family and friends. I guess it's because in the culture of my parents, money grows and builds linearly: you work hard, save money, and then enjoy it. But this isn't really how money works in most businesses. Many start-ups 'lose' money for the first few years. They cover this gap between income and expenses with support, which comes in the form of loans, investment, savings, or gifts.
I guess it made me happy because BAM there it was: proof that my conception of money was true, valuable, and actually wide-spread ...AND it gave me a place to feel good about receiving support in the form of loans from my parents and from alana, while also figuring out when exactly i'd be able to start repaying them, :1 - which looks like it might be in February, :1.
Anywho, hopefully my stomach will be okay for tomorrow, cause we're heading out on a 3 day 'survival trip' which will actually be a practice survival trip, as it'll be our first totally primitive excursion. :1
