I guess it just all depends on how you see things, fans of BL and fans of LP all interpret the exact same lines, expressions, camera angles etc. the way they think best suits their ship. As a BL fan I can understand their frustration with the inconsistency of the BL relationship, in terms of their having no romantic scenes, then no friendship scenes, then lots of friendship scenes, back to no scenes... it's kind of crazy

And trust me when I say as a LP fan that it sucked for us during S2 with all of a sudden they had no scenes to BL and JP. So its not like neither ships felt it that way. We all have had the shaft when it comes to Mark and his writing

Haha, believe me I know. Every ship has been dishonoured in that sense. I just think for BL fans it hits harder, since I DO think a lot of the BL fans are/were fans because of CS. I won't deny, I was a huge fan of both, and as a couple, and I think it's natural that they will always have what ifs. Plus, BL haven't been in romantic relationship in real time since 401, and in OTH time that is an eternity.
I agree, I think Joe was joking, just like Hilarie was, but I think they don't realize how passionate some of the fans are LOL. I think of myself as being somewhat moderate, and yet I still read the articles and watch the interviews.

They of course have the right to their opinions, it's just that I still think it's a little shocking when they do say such things because most of the time it seems like people always want to be PC and keep all the fanbases along LOL.

Joe is one of the sweetest guys ever. The things people are saying about him are so rude and disrespectful. The guy has a right to his own opinion and freedom of speech. And the fact that he is so invested in the couple he takes part of is truly amazing, nothing wrong with that at all. There are not many actors who are so connected with their fans like he is. It takes a person with a great heart to be connected as he is with us. He shows that he appreciates his fans so much. He is a talented actor, down to earth guy, and just overall great person and anyone who talks negatively should really just keep things to themselves. He's dedicated to his character, the couple he loves, and to his fans and us, fans, will continue to support him in anything he does. We Love You, Joe!!
