I guess it just all depends on how you see things, fans of BL and fans of LP all interpret the exact same lines, expressions, camera angles etc. the way they think best suits their ship. As a BL fan I can understand their frustration with the inconsistency of the BL relationship, in terms of their having no romantic scenes, then no friendship scenes, then lots of friendship scenes, back to no scenes... it's kind of crazy.
I think most BL fans probably know, whether they admit it or not, that CS aren't thrilled with having to do lots of romantic type scenes, based on their own history, but to actually have Joe say that it a whole different thing. I respect his honesty, but I still think it was foolish because Chad, Sophia and Mark have all claimed that the off-screen stuff shouldn't matter. He had to know that BL fans would be unhappy about it. Maybe he hasn't paid much attention to the show's history, but there's no denying that BL have that story and fan following.
Well, I'm a BL fan and I think the dollhouse was a beautiful gesture. I don't understand how people could be against it. It's something the fans put a lot of work into. Whether or not it worked shouldn't matter, since there are fans from every ship that make stuff, but I think it's great that people do care as much.
Again, I think it's all in how the fanbases see it. BL fans will say that true love conquered all obstacles, most notably the cheating and insecurities. LP fans will say that their story was so epic that it was meant to be from the very start, and anything else would be denial. I don't believe either to be true, no matter who is endgame.
And trust me when I say as a LP fan that it sucked for us during S2 with all of a sudden they had no scenes to BL and JP. So its not like neither ships felt it that way. We all have had the shaft when it comes to Mark and his writing.

It really reminds me of how people got when Hilarie said "Give me my ball back" Speech. People took it way to seriously when I'm sure she was just joking about the whole thing.
I'm not saying BL do not have history. In fact I wish they didn't but they do LOL and I agree fans can get carried away even I do sometimes but I would never take what any actor says to the heart. I just find it weird that Joe can't have an opinion but its ok for the fans to call him stupid, dumb, ugly or what ever other stuff they have said about him. I just think its ridiculous honestly. If Chad said he hated LP i wouldn't care neither would I had it been Hil. Its their opinion on how they feel and at the end of the day its what Mark thinks and he's expressed how he's felt about the couples on the show.
Haha, believe me I know. Every ship has been dishonoured in that sense. I just think for BL fans it hits harder, since I DO think a lot of the BL fans are/were fans because of CS. I won't deny, I was a huge fan of both, and as a couple, and I think it's natural that they will always have what ifs. Plus, BL haven't been in romantic relationship in real time since 401, and in OTH time that is an eternity.

I agree with you here too, I'm not a fan of Joe's but I don't think he's dumb or ugly or anything like that, and people do get too invested in their comments. They of course have the right to their opinions, it's just that I still think it's a little shocking when they do say such things because most of the time it seems like people always want to be PC and keep all the fanbases along LOL.

Aww, no, you didn't. I think everyone can feel frustrated with fans from the other ships sometimes. I know I've been told before how stupid and silly it is for me to still ship BL and JP, from certain LP fans, but nothing's going to stop me LOL.
