it's been a long run but we've made it this far...
Wow, well it really has been a long time since I properly wrote to this thing, in fact it was about the end of last semester. Well, the new semester has begun and the students are awesome not to mention the joy of seeing a few of last semesters students too. A lot has happened this year...mostly, if not all, good. I guess I never mentioned on here the fact that I got saved on the 26th March and have been a kind of part of the bible college ever since. I've been a Christian for 5 months and 2 days now and in that short time I have grown so much in the Lord. In fact can hardly remember what I used to be like. I've had so many awesome experiences and shared with the best people. I have the best friends I could ever hope to have and my life has turned aroud completely. People say 'God is good' and oh boy can I see the full extent of that! I kinda feel like it's my calling to go out street witnessing to the kids I used to hang out with, yep the drunk ones. So I started doing that and man, it's scary but I know it's worth it. I want to encourage anyone reading this who is not a christian or who is getting really discouraged because the Lord is worth everything you ever have. I used to be jelouse if my friend had something I wanted but now I know I have something so much better than the greatest earthly treasures. Jesus. And I can't say it's easy all the time in fact it's not often easy at all but God puts us through such hardships to make us stronger in Him and to teach us valuable lessons. "My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials" James 1:2 Everything God puts us through has a brilliant outcome! My life is amazing now that I have the Lord. If you don't know Him then give your life to Him now and start walking the path to Heaven.
