Can I not be sick now?
For over a week now, I have been fighting this goddess-awful sinus thing. Now, all I have left of it is a runny nose and a cough. Unfortunately, the cough makes me sound like I am going to hack up a lung any minute and co-workers keep asking me if I'm okay during these 5-minute-straight coughing sprees where I can't breathe and tears run down my face. I'm alive, but I'm not as okay as I could be.
On top of that, a truck has sat running in front of the clean air in-take of the entire building since this morning and now I have a massive headache from the fumes. I'm right under a vent. Gotta admire my good fortune, eh?
Tonight, I hope we get to put up the tree. It's late for me, usually I have my tree up after Thanksgiving, but these long weeks at work have made that not happen this year.
