Okay, with news of my grandmother's accident on Saturday, I suppose you all can imagine my horror when I found out last night that one of my very dear friends, Jeremy, was in a horrific biking accident.
The horror only grew when I was told by our mutual friend cerebulon that Jeremy had ALSO broken his face- including his nasal cavity, his eye and part of his skull. According to both reports, part of his nasal cavity was actually TOUCHING his eyeball.
The surgery to FIX the MASSIVE amounts of internal injuries would usually cost upwards of $40,000 dollars. THANKFULLY, he has been able to locate a loan and assistance that will enable him to at least HAVE the surgery before he loses his eye. He goes in for the surgery tomorrow morning at 10:45 AM.
ANY spare good thoughts and prayers you can spare for my friend, I would greatly appreciate! I am so worried for him!
