Went to buy our family Christmas tree today to help my mom "get in the mood" for Christmas. She says it's not Christmas until she has her tree. (By the way, buying a FAMILY CHRISTMAS TREE is so much more fun when the whole FAMILY is there with you! It sucks by yourself...) So found a tree. Also stopped by Lowe's to buy my only living

Wow. That's really bad, and I hope Wall-Mart pays her for her time in the hospital, if not for the full accident and injury. If it happened on their grounds, I think they'd be liable to pay her medical bills at least.

I'm sorry that your Christmas is getting pooped on. I hope that if you do have to go visit her that it all works out to be a little optimistic.

Unfortunately, we will NOT be going to see her this Christmas. None of us can afford the trip (money-wise or vacation time-wise) and my mom has thrown out her back, so the trip would cause her more pain than imaginable.
