Tuesday
Well, the water men finally came back and fixed our water. Then one of them gave me phone numbers to call them to do the reinstall. He said he'd do it cheaper than Rainsoft, so long as I didn't tell Rainsoft, cause he'd get busted. I figure I'll call him later this week, since Rainsoft hasn't called to schedule the install, and maybe he'll be able to get it done sooner.
The house seems empty. Part of me wishes we always had this little stuff in our house. The other house seems full because of all the boxes of stuff that can't get put away. And tomorrow is the move.
Today, we go to IKEA and pick up a new desk for L and a new desk chair for para-chan and a rolly mat for my desk chair. Then we go up to the house and, in theory, workshop. Avenger will be there. I have curtains to hang, L has a desk to build. Annoyingly enough, I'm more tired and congested today than I was yesterday.
Thursday and Friday, we clean and move the things out of the garage at the old house, and then we're done here. And on to all the stuff it will take to get settled in at our new home. Dave is supposed to be up moving the boat today, then all his stuff should be gone. I wonder if he's going to leave his key, since it seems we only have one working key for the house at the moment. Should probably get everything re-keyed, and maybe have deadbolts installed on the door to the garage and the front door. Maybe. We'll see what Sean says. At this point I'm babbling.
Time to finish my coffee and hit the shower so we can get this show on the road.
