Weekend Update With Me, Mizuki!
Hi everybody! (Hi Dr. Nick!) Sorry, couldn't help myself. So the party went well on Saturday. After the few fiascos I had, O. Non came to the rescue and brought me the items I needed to finish the party. Mitsuki and Kitty(yes she is slowly earning her name back)brought Ginger ale and with the seltzer Gaerfie brought I was able to make the Sherbet Fizzy punch. I didn't make the muffin appetizers, but everything still turned out all right. C4 hooked his MP3 player to Gaerfie's speakers and played The Chili Peppers for Katydid. The boys played Rock Band, and i got some footage of that. Katydid loved her presents, especially the dinosaur Mitsuki, Sage, and C4 gave her. It roars, walks, and wiggles it's butt!

O.Non stayed till 2319 hanging out with Gaerfei, playing Rock Band with C4, and kibetzing with the Mistress, who came at 2145. At 2330 we headed out headed to Paddles. It was fun and exciting. I didn't want to offend anyone here so I have my blog about it as a link. Read at your own risk.
We got back at 0530 and Gaerfie was still up! He couldn't sleep because he was nervous about us being in the city so late. We both knew he would have seizures today. We went to sleep around 0600 and the first one struck at 0900. C4 asked me what to do and i asked him to take care of The Gnome(Katydid was at Grandmeres house)and he said no problem. he brought Gaerfie salt and ginger ale. The next time I woke up it was 1200. C4 had given The Gnome his lunch and put him to nap. I was so proud i said he could have two packs of cards for helping out. I asked him to get him up no later then three and went back to taking care of Gaerfie. At 1445 he got the Gnome up and gave him snack. I didn't ask him to do that, so I gave him another pack of cards. BY then Gaerfie was doing better. C4 brought the kids to visit and we spent family time on the bed talking, laughing, and horsing around. We got up at 1700 and I started dinner. Just burgers and dogs, but it was still good. Gaerfie and C4 played Frolf and my Mom came to visit and eat. The gnome went with her and we gave C4 the rest of the night off of being a brother with much thanks and kisses. Katy played on the computer with us for a bit, and then she went to sleep. Gaerfie and i talked for a bit, and then I sent him to bed for his health. I unfortunatly could not get sleepy. I stayed on-line till 0015 and then lay down and read for what I thought would be a few minuets. It turned out to be three hours and I finished the novel. By 0335 I was still not tired. I felt horrible and woke Gaerfie to see if he could help me.
He tried fooling around and then making love, but my mind was racing so much I wanted to talk. Now we have a solid enough sex life that this doesn't disrupt the mood. We talked about Paddles and trying new things together. About The Mistress entering our lives and how we feel. It was cleansing, but didn't help me relax enough to sleep. We stopped and I lay down on the verge of tears from exhaustion. Gaerfie started rubbing my back and I had an idea. I asked him if he could use a flogger instead and just do light butterfly motions. It worked and with in 15 min. I was so relaxed that I never made it to the end.
In the morning I regretted waking Gaerfie last night as he promptly had three very painful partials. I got him something to drink and fed him his pills. He agreed that it was lack of water drinking that brought this on(could tell from color of pee). He was able to sleep a few more hours and felt fine by 0900. I caught up on another two hours and then got up to play the game of Frolf I promised C4. I felt so bad since the whole loss of Sunday sleeping, I wanted to make it up to him. We decided to go to the park and enjoy the weather before the storm came. Gaerfie headed out with the kids and C4 and I left a bit later. We talked about school and his concern for Gaerfie. On the way we saw some deer and a vulture. We also found a butterfly that recently expired. The ants were just starting to crawlon it and i couldn't leave it there. I brushed the ants off and took it with us. We stopped at the deli and I got C4 an italien ice and ice tea for me. We got Gaerfie some salty chips too. We continued our walk and our talk. We spoke about his fathers family and mine, and about a family vacation hopefully in the future. We arrived at the park and C4 went off chasing his siblings. I sat with Gaerfie for a bit and fed him chips. C4 asked to trade places with Gaerfie and snuggled next to me on my lap. I consider myself so lucky that my 14 yr old Son shows me affection like that in public and doesn't care. While we were talking his Dad called and when I said he would have to come to the park to get C4(5 min. from our house)he had a fit. I almost let him ruin the day, but C4 wouldn't have it. He said he had a great time walking with me and talking. That made me feel really good. c4's Dad came so quickly he didn't have time to chase down his siblings and say goodbye. This upset The Gnome, but a hug and a promise that I would call C4 this week so he could say hi was a respectable trade. He was going apple picking with Mitsuki and his Dad. I have to bitterly laugh, because I remember a time when I couldn't get sage to go anywhere let alone apple picking. he would say we had no money, he ws tired, his feet hurt...etc. Now he goes every year, funny huh? Oh well. We took a nature walk, found some cool stuff like leaves to press and walnuts, not so cool stuff like sewage treatment plant, and ran into a guy walking a Corgi named Tucker. He was a chubby little thing and he licked the chip crumbs off of The Gnomes hand while he giggled. We went to see the frog pond, but it was quiet. The sky started to darken so we headed home. The Gnome wanted to ride, but Katydid wanted to walk. It was slow going back with her pace, but we sang songs to keep us going. We got back and Gaerfie put katydid to nap and The Gnome asked if he could take a picture with the butterfly. Then Gaerfie had more seizures. I got him a drink and made him a cup of coffee. I started dinner and the Gnome kept company watching Bob The Builder.
So now I sit blogging after dinner eating mango Italian Ice and listening to the kids having fun with Gaerfie at bath time reflecting on the great day. You know I can't remember a better one yet this year. Everything went well today. I hope it lasts. Later.
