Just as an update...
I started a research internship (unpaid) with www.mautnerproject.org/home/ on Monday, so I have been rather more occupied than I was over the summer. So far, I'm enjoying it. :) Except for the wake up really early part - stupid commute. Comes with the location, I guess. On the other hand, I got to tie a pink bandana around my (boy) dog's neck when I got home today... lol I don't think he appreciates it, but he has accepted it nonetheless. :)
Anyway, Supernatural Season 5 premiered on Sept 10, and it rocked... so... yay for fandom! lol. I'm enjoying it more than I have since like season 2 (not that I did not enjoy 3 & 4, just... not this much). While spn doesn't have loads of awesome cars like TF... it does have *one* awesome car (67 Chevy Impala, black...) that is beautiful enough to make up for an abscence of other cars. Oh, and it has... humans... which I miss sometimes. Lovely, angsty, adult humans, in fact. Oh, and the show understands "character development." So... <3 Not that I won't always love Transformers, but the season has shifted. :)
Um.... not a whole lot else going on. Homecoming's next week, so hopefully I'll get to see some friends I have missed! Also, on the metro today, since it is talk like a pirate day, a man with two boys walked on to the metro.... dressed like a pirate. Like, full on pirate. :) It made me smile.
