Saw Band of Horses live yesterday night - first time in my life I've walked out of a concert.
Don't get me wrong, I love them and I was SO happy I got to see them, but I totally forgot about the shitty acoustics of the venue (the instruments always sound like a mess and the singer has to literally pull out his vocal cords in order to be heard amongst the ruckus). Moreover, I was front row, standing right next to a goddamn amp, ears almost bleeding I shit you not. I still hear ringing and it's unnerving to say the least. It really helps that I already have inner ear problems!
I tried to endure it (stupid me) but couldn't take it in the end so I left right before the encore.
Fuck I'm too old for being a dick and fucking up my health over a concert because it's cooool.
