PAX has kind of snuck up on us this year, evidently it's wicked early, at the end of the month! OMG.
Is anybody coming to Seattle for PAX? WE SHOULD MEET UP AND ALSO YOU CAN COME HANG AT MY PLACE BECAUSE I LIVE A FIFTEEN MINUTE BUS RIDE FROM THE CONVENTION CENTER COME DRINK MY TEA AND PLAY BOARDGAMES WITH ME AND VISIT THE VINTAGE MALL AND THE BOOKSELLER WITH THE SPIRAL STAIRCASE AND THE CATS AND LOOK THE FREMONT TROLL IN ITS GLASS EYE~
Seriously, don't be shy, if you're gonna be in town LET ME KNOW, okay? I do PAX kinda weird; mostly it's a social occasion for me so I'm looking to spend my time making friends and stuff, and could care less about game premiers, guests, panels and things of that nature. Last year I was hardcore into the concerts but this year nobody I really care about is playing (they were all seemingly poached for PAX East, boooo) so I'm going to be flailing around looking for stuff to fill my weekend between random games.
I also usually try to throw together some kind of fun outfit that's game inspired, but this year it's too soon for me to do much of anything. I have decided in a fit of inspiration, however, to paint my nails in an homage to Settlers of Catan! My nails will be wood, brick, ore, wheat, and sheep themed! I DO DECLARE.
