At the meeting to field service tis afternoon, the C.O. brought out the meaning of numbers in the bible.
2- to solidly confirm (if the bible repeats something twice)
3- emphasis (ex: 'a ruin, a ruin, a ruin they will be')
4- universal, to cover all corners (the four walls, the four angels)
6- Imperfection, something not normal, monsterous (the beast with six heads)
7- divinely determined completeness as to Jehovah's purpose or Satan's purpose
10- earthly completeness
12- divinly constitution organization
40- either: training, testing, or punishment
An example of the use of these numbers: 24 elders (two and twelve) :)
hope ya'll can use this, too!!
