oh my god we're back again
So my mission for this week has been to get the house squeaky clean. Not that its a disaster area, just you know spring deep cleaning. I'm pretty excited cuz next week is Nick's vacation and my birthday. I also know Nick is planning something. I'm not sure what but I think it might be big. I wasn't actually supposed to know he was planning anything but his mom almost spilled the beans and caught herself. So Nick has decided instead to torment me with "I know something you don't know" ack! Anywho here are my clues:
- he asked for $300 to spend on his vaca, this was before his mom slipped and he said he just wanted some walkin around money for it to have fun. Wouldnt say more than that.
- he says he thinks he'll keep Tony this weekend rather than mom. Which I didnt think anything about, but then added he wanted to give mom as much time off this week as he could. hmm
- he's encouraging me to use my spa-day christmas gift on monday. hmm. hmm.
I'm not trying to figure it all out. I want to be surprised. I'm excited. I can't wait!
Anywho the throwback title is from my ipod playlist skinny bitch. I got a whole playlist of guilty pleasure upbeat songs solely for use while cleaning or using the wiifit. I like the wiifit. I also have the best workout device ever. Its called The Kid! I took him to the park Monday. Did he play on the playground? No. Slide? No. Dig in the dirt? No. That little turkey went and got on the sidewalk that cirles the park and took off as fast as he could. (about a 3mph walking pace for me) and didn't stop. I was not properly attired for this having slip on shoes and jeans on, but he didn't care. He just ran. For about 40 minutes, non stop! well, he did stop for about 5 minutes to play soccer with some teenagers who were, thankfully, patient and nice enough, to let him hijack thier ball and kick it around a bit til he tired of it. Then back to running. He went til he was exhausted. I helped him drink some water from the fountain and then he crashed out. Was asleep before I could pull out of the parking lot. lol. He really does bring me joy. And apparently a smaller waistline! who knew!
