All right. I've gotten through chapter fourteen, leaving me four to do, and while I suspect I could do another one tonight, it would probably be better for the book if I didn't. I gritted my teeth and read the QUEEN'S BASTARD revision letter this morning. Forecast for sulk has been rescinded and the remainder of the week looks clear and cheerful. My hair is slowly returning to the Natural State of a Kit's Hair, which is to say, it's getting progressively shorter. I got it cut yesterday (photos here, but I think I'm probably going to go back in and get them cut some more. As a writer, titles are incredibly important to me. I don't know if other writers have this issue (I know some don't), but the title is my backbone for a book. I think really hard about patterns, about what the title conveys, about a lot of things that I get way hung up on.
