Another weekend
Happy Mother's Day! Singapore celebrated Mother's Day on the 2nd sunday of May, so Mother's Day fell on 9th May this year, just right after Singapore announced going back to Phase 2 from 8th May. This meant we couldnt meet up with my parents and siblings since my brother's family of 4, 彼 and me would exceed the Covid restriction of 5 visitors a day.

For 彼's mom, we did the celebration earlier on Friday evening. 彼's aunt and uncle also joined us. We ordered Chinese stirfry and mala (from top left: sambal sweet potato leaves, mala, cereal prawn, curry fish head, marmite chicken and tofu). I ordered flowers for 彼‘s mom, 彼's brother bought a cake from Chateraise, which also came along with a Mother's Day gift.
Happy Mother's Day picture of Bao. Bao has been having a ear infection since about 1-2 weeks ago that just wouldnt go away so on Friday afternoon, i took leave so 彼 and I could bring him to the vet. The vet explained that it was a yeast infection that developed into a bacteria infection. He is on ear meds for the next 3 weeks~

Click to viewI have to say I was really excited about this show (because it is Dynasty Warriors!), so I was quite shocked when the reviews for it came out quite poor. 15minutes into the show I kinda realized why though. Audience who are looking for Romance of the Three Kingdoms would definitely be dissappointed. Audience who are looking for the game Dynasty Warriors will be awesomely thrilled. The characters are really created pretty close to the Musou characters, and the slash and hack musou effect is definitely there. It was like watching live action game cut scenes lol

I kept forgetting to take photos of food, so only one pic this week. Prawn mee (changed to bee hoon)! I really love how flavorful the broth is~
