I Love You ~Prologue~
So I'm back to writing fics! Yey! :) Sorry I've been AWOL for a long time been busy with work and all. Here's a new fic for you all. Btw, I'm not sure if I can still continue writing my previous hanging fics, I just totally lost the momentum. But if you guys want to continue it just tell me okay? For the mean time, here's a new fic. :))

A/N: The title and story is based on Yoochun’s solo song “I Love You” from “The Beginning” album.
Summary: She swept him off his feet and he’s determined that she’s the one but when problems regarding his career piled up, their relationship starts to crumble until he finally loses her. Now, one year later, a fresh start with a new career path, is he ready to find a new love with a new girl? Or is he still attached to his past love?
PROLOGUE
The sound of buzzing horns and the sight of cars piling up in traffic in the busy street of Seoul greeted him as he joined the long queue of vehicles. “Welcome back to the city.” he sighed. After a week of snowboarding in the quiet countryside, he came back three days before beginning his first work of the year. For the past seven years, he has spent the first ten days of the year with a vacation and three years of those is spent with someone special but this year is different. He is alone and he’s coming back to work with two instead of four of his most beloved friends. A lot has happened in his life and no matter how hard he tries to convince himself that he’s starting anew, he can’t help but bring back all those special memories that he created with those special people. He acts strong and happy for others but when he’s all by himself, he breaks down into tears.
He is known to be the most transparent in the group. Every avid fan can see-through his emotions, read through his body language and was branded as the most emotional one but now, in a span of a year, he changed. He tries his best to smile for everyone to see that he’s brave enough to get through what happened, little did the fans know that among the three, he is the one who went through a tougher time. Losing his friends whom he already treated like brothers and most specially, losing someone so precious in his life.
As he drown deeper into his thoughts, a voice from the radio startled him, “And now, the song that everyone was waiting for, the much awaited release of Dong Bang Shin Ki.” He starting shivering hearing those last words, he wants to turn off the radio but his hands feel numb. “Why? Keep your head down by Dong Bang Shin Ki!” The DJ enthusiastically announced and the song started, he closed his eyes as flashbacks started hitting him again.

(Everything has ended) I didn't even start yet
(We broke up) I haven't even heard the reason yet
Everyone around me keeps asking me why I'm like this

His hand reached for the off button and everything was filled up again with sound of buzzing horns. He can’t listen to it, he just can’t. For the first time in many months, he heard their voices again and he can’t help but break down.

“Shut up!!!” he screamed out as anger fills his face, she has never seen him this mad before and it scares her.
“I just wanted to help.” she said in a tiny voice.
“I don’t need your help. No one can help me. Not even you.” his eyes were fierce and it even made her scared.
“Didn’t I promise you that I’ll be there through your ups and down?” she said, hoping that he’ll loosen up to her. “Yoochun, just talk to me, cry it out, it’s okay, I wouldn’t mind.” she moved closer to him and hugged him from the back.
“I SAID I DONT NEED YOU!!!” he screamed once more as he shrugged her away, making her fall on ground.
That scene has been haunting her since the day she left Korea. That was the last time she ever saw him, a mad and furious version of himself that she has never met before. She understands him, the only problem is he wants to keep everything to himself. As much as she wanted to help him, he wouldn’t let her, he shut everyone in his life including those that are dear to him and she had no choice. It’s killing her to see that he has turned out to be the way he is and the only solution she has was to leave and let him be. She knows that leaving was not easiest option especially in his situation but he pushes her away and their relationship was going nowhere but down.
“Good evening passengers.” the voice of the flight attendant disturbed her thoughts. “We’ll be arriving in Seoul in a few minutes, please buckle up your seatbelt as we land in our destination. Thank you.” A year away from a place that’s full of memories has somehow helped her move on and she’s ready start anew and now, back in the same country as that man who was once important in her life, she’s having mix feelings.

“Yoochun, it’s me. I... I can’t do this anymore. I’m sorry I’m doing it this way... I gotta go. Bye.”
He remembered those words again. She’s the only one who understands him, she never left even at his most stubborn behaviour but he took her for granted and shuts her out. Only now that he realize how she truly meant to him but he is too late. She’s gone and will probably never come back.
