I'm going to kill someone from Ubisoft. I just bought "The Settlers: Rise of an Empire" from the school book fair, and for some reason, it refuses to work. Now, ordinarily, I would state something more literal like, "it is broken" or "it is not working", but this game seemingly has a mind of its own, and it HATES ME.
I install the game, and that just goes swell. I'll state that again, the game is ENTIRELY ON MY HARD DRIVE. However, when I press "play" it states "Please insert original DVD of 'The Settlers: Rise of an Empire'!" Does that mean I'm not using a real DVD? Did my school sell me a pirated video game? What the hell! This happened every time I tried to run it.
Just to piss the game off, I clicked on something different, and oddly enough, something entirely different happened. It asked me to activate the game online. It then asked me for my CD key, which I had. However, it then decided that my CD key DIDN'T EXIST. So I'm stuck.
Why am I writing this here, you ask, and not in an email to Ubisoft? Because when I put my information in to there, THERE IS A CONSTANT SERIES OF "UNEXPECTED" ERRORS! UNEXPECTED? I'M PRETTY MUCH EXPECTING IT AT THIS POINT!
So I'm stuck with a game that is unplayable, and no way to fix it, all because of retarded anti-piracy measures. The game's there, it should be playable, and yet there is nothing. Ya know what, it's not just retarded, it's stupid. It's stupid and retarded. It's stuptarded.
It's so stupid a situation that a new word had to be made.
